Ingredients[]
- Bars
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. peanut butter
- 3 c. Special K cereal
- Frosting
- 3 tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2-3 tbsp. milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Directions[]
- Mix Karo syrup, sugar and peanut butter in a large saucepan.
- Heat until boiling around the edges.
- Remove from heat and Mix in Special K.
- Put in lightly buttered 9 x 9 inch pan and press until flat. Allow to cool.
- Mix all frosting ingredients together and beat until smooth.
- Spread frosting on cooled Special K bars.

- Peanut butter frosting: Substitute 1/4 cup peanut butter instead of cocoa.
