Spice cookies

Ingredients

• ½ cup molasses
• ¼ cup Sugar
• 3 tablespoons butter (or oil)
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 2 cups flour
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon cloves
• ½ teaspoon ginger

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
2. Heat molasses to boiling.
3. Add Sugar, butter, and milk.
4. In a bowl, sift together flour, soda, and spices.
5. Add dry ingredients to moist ingredients.
6. Mix all.
7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, keeping cookies 1" apart.
8. Bake for 8 minutes.
