Description[edit | edit source]
Keep the pears cooking to make it tangier with real spices. Serve up a fruity treat with other desserts and fruits so it also keeps a red-hot, juicy aroma with the fruits and sugar content.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
Directions[edit | edit source]
- Tie the spices in a muslin bag and put all ingredients into water, covering the pears.
- Boil until the liquid is reduced and beginning to thicken.
- Remove the muslin bag; then chill and serve with custard and clotted cream.
