This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Steep Estate in Elmo, Texas in 1989.

  1. Peel the outer layers off of the onions.
  2. Combine cayenne, chili powder and Greek seasoning and mix well.
  3. Rub each onion generously with vegetable oil then sprinkle with seasoning mix and cover each onion individually in foil.
  4. Grill over medium coals for 15 minutes.
