Purchased from the McDonald Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1990. Dated 1926.

  1. Coat Beef pieces with flour.
  2. Brown Beef and Onion in oil in skillet, set aside.
  3. Add enough water to reserved Potato liquid to measure 1 cup.
  4. In small bowl, mix liquid, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, bouillon granules, salt and pepper.
  5. Pour over Beef and Onion.
  6. Heat to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until Beef is tender, about 30 minutes.
  8. Add potatoes and green beans to skillet.
  9. Heat to a boil and reduce heat.
  10. Cover and simmer about 10-15 minutes longer.
