This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Steep Estate in Elmo, Texas in 1989.

- 8 cooked peeled and diced potatoes
- 1 pound American cheese sliced in strips
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup chopped white onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- ½ pound fried bacon drained and copped
