A colorless liquor, that is distilled from the fermented mash of potatoes, corn and other grains, or fruit. It does not possess much flavor and will typically take on the flavor of any other product with which it is mixed, such as fruit juices, tonic water and tomato juice. When mixed with tomato juice, it is made into a popular drink referred to as a "Bloody Mary."
