- 8 large carrots, cut into 1/4" slices diagonally (peeling optional)
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 heaping tbsp finely chopped fresh basil
You may steam the carrots ahead of time and re-heat in the sauce just before serving.
