Sweet Potato Bread I

Description

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Roark Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients

• 1 cup sweet potatoes
• 1¼ cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• ⅓ cup oil
• 2⅓ cups baking mix
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• ½ cup nuts
• ½ cup raisins

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients except raisins and combine until well blended.
2. Stir in raisins then bake in greased loaf pan for 55 minutes at 300°F.
