This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Bowers Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1994.

  1. Melt butter in a large frying pan then add potatoes and sprinkle with lemon juice tossing to coat.
  2. Sprinkle sugar over potatoes then fry until potatoes are tender and glazed turning often to keep from burning.
