  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Simmer slowly, stirring constantly for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and pour into a well-greased 9-inch square pan.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes, stirring the pan every 5 minutes for the first 20 minutes in the oven.
  5. After the last stirring, smooth the top and let it brown.
  6. Remove from the oven.
  7. Cut into squares and serve hot or cold.
