  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Layer potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. Cover with the grated cheese and pour cream evenly over the top.
  5. Drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 1 ½ hours.
