  1. Cut green bell peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  2. Cut tamales into ¼ inch slices.
  3. Combine tamales, chili, ½ cup cheese, onion and catsup.
  4. Fill the pepper halves.
  5. Place in an electric skillet and pour ¼ inch hot water into the skillet.
  6. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the peppers.
  8. Top with tortilla chips.
  9. Simmer, uncovered, 2 minutes, until cheese melts.
