  1. Let pie shell thaw at room temperature while combining other ingredients.
  2. Wash spinach and remove any coarse stems.
  3. Melt butter in large skillet; add spinach and cook 5 minutes or until spinach is limp.
  4. Chop spinach fine.
  5. Beat eggs; stir in half-and-half, salt, nutmeg, cheese and chopped spinach.
  6. Pour into pie shell.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes our clean.
  8. Let stand approximately 5 minutes before cutting.
  9. Can be served warm or cold
