- 1 medium cabbage
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- a few pepper berries
- 3 - 4 tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- Julienne the cabbage and rub some salt in.
- Fry the onion in hot oil and then set the cabbage to fry, stirring continuously and adding a little water every now and then.
- Add the bay leaf, garlic, pepper, and the oregano.
- When the cabbage is almost done, add the peeled and thinly sliced tomatoes, mix well and simmer until there is almost no liquid left.
- Serve as a side dish.
