This tomato sauce goes well with macaroni, spaghetti, rice, lamb and mutton, hard boiled and poached eggs and white beans.

  1. Make this sauce the same way as the botersaus and after cooking add the pureed tomato, grated onion, pepper and salt.
  2. Just before serving add the finely chopped parsley.
