  1. Peel and core the apples.
  2. Mix the walnuts and sultanas.
  3. Arrange apples on a baking dish, and fill with the walnut mixture.
  4. Dissolve the sugar in 1l water and pour over the apples.
  5. Bake until the apples are soft but not soggy!.
  6. Serve cold with whipped cream.
