You can also add sliced mushrooms to the pan with the onion and bell pepper. Serve with dill pickles and chips.

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add onion and bell pepper; sauté 5 minutes or until tender.
  4. Stir in black pepper.
  5. Divide onion mixture and turkey evenly among bottom halves of rolls; top each serving with 1 cheese slice.
  6. Cover with top halves of rolls.
  7. Place sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 375° for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 sandwich)
