Mash Potataoes

  1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender and then drain,soute onion until tender too.
  2. Mash the potatoes add onions, salt, pepper, cheese, and milk, blending well.
  3. Place thawed phyllo on floured surface slice into 2" wide strips brush with butter and place on heaping tbsp. of potato mixture on phyllo fold phyllo into triangle pkgs
  4. Preheat oven to 375 °F
  5. Repeat with potato mixture until all is used up brush with 1 egg beaten and sprinkle with coarse salt
  6. Bake at 375 °F for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve with sour cream and bacon bits{optional}
