Description
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 4- to 6-ounce package beef flavored rice mix, prepared according to package directions
- 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 large green pepper
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
- grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
Directions
- Brown beef in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain; return beef to skillet. Add rice, tomato sauce and oregano.
- Core pepper; cut into 4 large rings. Place rings on top of beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook over low heat until pepper is tender, about 5 minutes.
