  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  2. Add lemon juice.
  3. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 2 cups.
  4. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove any unmelted ice.
  6. Stir in salad dressing with wire whisk; chill until thickened.
  7. Fold apples, celery and walnuts into gelatin mixture.
  8. Pour into mold chill until firm, about 3 hours.
