Wasabi Soy Marinated Lamb Chops

This tangy lamb dish has bold secrets: wasabi and soy sauce. But you can afford to serve up a meaty treat with other meals but making your own wasabi will take time and the effort and quality are worth it.

Ingredients

  • 8 lamb loin chops
  • Namida® wasabi soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons oil, olive, corn, or vegetable only

Directions

  1.  Tie the lamb chops into a neat, circular shape. This will ensure a good shape when cooked.
  2. Place in a container. Brush the chops with the Namida® wasabi soy sauce. Cover and refrigerate for only 1 hour.
  3. Grill the chops under a high heat or pan-fry in a hot pan for about 7–8 minutes turning once or until cooked to your liking.
  4. Stand for 2–3 minutes before serving with potatoes and your favorite seasonal vegetables.

Tips

Instead of the Namida-branded wasabi soy sauce, just add 3 tablespoons wasabi powder or 4 tablespoons fresh, grated wasabi to the soy sauce in a large bowl and pour on the lamb chops by mixing.
